Smoothies are a delicious, nutritious and convenient way to use up leftover fruit that you have lurking in the fridge, the freezer or in the fruit bowl. While smoothies have gotten some bad press for being supposedly high in sugar, there is still a place for an occasional smoothie in your diet. Smoothies are an excellent way to (re)hydrate and they can be packed with vitamins and protein if you choose your ingredients wisely.
These are three of my favourite smoothies to make.
Probably strawberry and banana would be my favourite of the three.
