Are you a fan of granola bars? Do you rely on them for your mid-morning snack? Would you like to get creative in the kitchen and make your own?
Inspired by Oh She Glows, these chewy beauties are oil-free, raw/no-bake, soy-free, dairy-free and lactose-free ❤

They could be made gluten-free by using gluten free oats and gluten free cereal. To make them nut-free, try replacing the nut butter with sunflower seed butter and replacing the cashew nuts with more seeds – so many options.
Hope you enjoy.

Ingredients
150g oats
50g Rice Krispies
35g whole chia seeds – I used Chia Bia
35g sunflower seeds
15g desiccated coconut
2 tbsp sesame seeds
2 tbsp chopped cashew nuts
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
150ml syrup of choice – golden/maple/brown rice/honey
2 tbsp nut butter of choice – almond/peanut/hazelnut
Method
Line an 8″ square cake tin.
Mix all of the dry ingredients together in a large bowl.
Melt the syrup and nut butter in a saucepan until bubbling and mix into the dry ingredients until everything is well combined and sticky.
Transfer to the prepared cake tin and firmly pack in using clean hands – wet your hands to help prevet everything sticking to you!
Freeze for 15 minutes before cutting into 10 bars. Keep in the fridge for a week.
