Gluten-Free Birthday Treats

I have a good work pal and she’s my reason for making gluten-free treats. For a coeliac, it is crucial to follow a gluten-free diet to manage both the long-term and short-term symptoms of this autoimmune disorder.

These no-bake treats are super handy to make. The only “special” ingredients you need to buy is the biscuits. The chocolate etc. is naturally gluten-free. Just be sure to check the allergens list to ensure there is no trace of gluten.

No stress with this no-bake. The hardest thing is not munching on the ingredients while you mix everything up.

Hope you enjoy!

Ingredients
300g milk chocolate
100g butter
1 tin (397g) condensed milk
400g gluten-free Digestive biscuits, broken
100g mini marshmallows
10 mini crunchie bars, chopped
10 mini bags of M&M’s
Sprinkles, to decorate

Method
Line a 7×11″ cake tin with a double layer of cling film.

Melt the chocolate and butter in a large mixing bowl over a saucepan of barely simmering water.

Stir in the condensed milk until combined and fudgy.

Remove the mixing bowl from the heat and stir in the biscuits, marshmallows, half of the crunchie bars and half of the M&M’s.

Press firmly into the prepared cake tin, sprinkle over the remaining crunchie bars and M&M’s and allow to set overnight before cutting into desired shape and size.
