Breakfast Bars

These breakfast bars are super easy and quick to make. You can use whatever seeds, nut butter and dried fruit you have in the house. I particularly love using sesame seeds as I love that flavour.

These breakfast bars will keep for 3-4 days in an airtight container. If breakfast bars are your cup of tea, you might also love my granola bars and my breakfast cookies.

Ingredients
150g oats
30g sunflower seeds
30g milled chia seeds
30g flaked almonds
90g dried fruit
200g butter
60ml sunflower oil
4 tbsp golden syrup
1 egg

Method
Grease and line a 7×11″ baking tin. Preheat the oven to 200C.

Mix together the dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl.

Mix together the wet ingredients in a jug and add to the dry ingredients.

Press the mixture into the baking tin and bake in the preheated over for 20 mins. Allow to cool completely in the tin before cutting. Drizzle with dark chocolate if you wish.
